You're living in a Cameron Crowe film?

I feel bad for you bionicear, maybe you will someday.

There's nothing in this world better than happy endings. Something doesn't necessarily have to end the way you want it to, but despite that, it can still end happily. If you try...

Good insight, Bison. That's the key to being happy. It's not about what happens to you as much as how you choose to respond.

Well, having never had the pleasure of chasing Goldie Haun's topless daughter around a hotel room I'd have to say no. But I'm still holding out hope it'll happen.

Life always has happy endings, Bison. You just have to work to create those endings for yourself. From my own life experiences I firmly believe you are the only one that can make you happy.

So many people #&%!$ and moan about the government or so-and-so that isn't taking care of them so they are unhappy. They refuse to take responsibility for themselves and work to put themselves in a place (physical or mental) where they are happy. This applies to disaster survivors, and nasty breakup survivors.

:-)

Go forth and make happiness for yourself.

Yes it is up to us indivually Tech, but it's often a lot easier when people are willing to work together to work out their differences.

There's an FBMA?

It true that happinness and fortune have a lot to do with how you see things. I've seen people who are miserable and feel life has been totally unfair to them, who haven't gone through half of what was faced by people who feel lucky and blessed.

LOL BIt -

And the only problem is, the guy appointed to run had been activites director for the American Association of Owners of Jumping Frogs.

I have a friend (no, not my brother) who has had a pretty hard time in life. Nothing ever seems to go his way. At least according to him, all the trouble in his life has been caused by others. Of course, one could point to every specific instance and say, "well, if you had done this, then you wouldn't be having this trouble now."

His answer would likely be that what he had to do to head it off was unfair or unjust to him. And perhaps that is the case. But sometimes you just gotta suck it up and take care of the problem, instead of pushing it on down the road.

ped I think sometimes that is because people don't realize how good they have it until they have spent time without.

LOL! I could relate about 9 million of those stories just about one person.

One particularly funny one comes to mind...
This person rents furniture. Then doesn't pay the rental bill. The rental place visits quite often, but the person doesn't answer the door. One day, an unsuspecting friend answers the door and it's the rental people. The rental people take the furniture away.

According to this person, it's all the friend's fault - if the friend hadn't opened the door, she'd still have furniture.

The same people who created welfare?

Some how I suspect my chasing anyones naked daughter around any room would result in charges being pressed. I think Ill just change the dress on my old gal and chase her instead.

Cameron Crowe is a huge Paul McCartney Fan and his movies have McCartney songs in the sound track most of the time. I suppose I can relate to a Cameron Crowe movie.

Almost Famous was a great movie.

On point.

My son tend to take after me. He thinks too much.

His brother is happy go lucky.

So son #1 tends to be more moody, more anxious, nervous and concerned about stuff.

I yell at him about it. I think that helps.

Son#2 just . . . .gets along. Tends to be upbeat, bubbly, outgoing etc.

Well. The other night Son#1 was all pissy and grumpy about something before going to bed. Real snarling fit (it was Halloween night, late, and he was overtired).

But he woke up in a great mood. Sat at the breakfast table and declared "i'm happy today". And he had a great day. Was second in the mile run for the whole three fifth grade classes. Had fun at recess. Was generally more fun to be around.

It was so much fun to hear him declare "I'm happy today"

Son#2 just looks at him like he has rocks in his head. I mean . ..why wouldn't you be happy??
