I'm bringing a communal water bucket so we can send someone (C!B!) for water and it will make it easier in camp for everyone ;)

We'll be bringing our water bag and will share also. It'd have to be an awful big bucket for all of us. Or poor Crash Bang would have to make forty cazillion trips to water and back.

Just everyone don't go skimp on layers and rain gear. Rain is in the forecast for one part of a day and the temps will drop down to the 50s. This isn't remote enough that we can't deal with an emergency but I am so paranoid about hypothermia after my bad experience that you will just have to listen to me harp on this like a mother hen for now. A wet person can easily become hypothermic in conditions like this. It's such a large group and we are close enough to the cars that I am sure we can deal with just about anything, but just be safe and prepared.

Man, I do sound like a mother hen. Sorry.

hehehe pitts, I know the symptoms well, Ive been hypothermic twice! :D But I've leveled it out with having heat sickness once...

I prefer the heat sickness as you feel cold and have no idea where the hell you are...

hypothermic sucks. It really does! Takes freakin forever and three layers of sleeping bags to get warm...

but then the first time was my fualt...should never of taken a dip in that glacer fed lake...

I just impressed CMB with my pack weight LOL! Back in the day, I used to even carry less in a lumbar pack for overnighters in good weather. Mike likes to carry everything under the sun with us so...my pack since I met mike has gained a few pounds :P

Are you really bringing a 15 degree bag?

You and Nicole have to be the coldest sleepers I have ever known.

No smokes IJ?

I am debating whether or not to bring my Tevas.
