I second the Alverez. They have been making guitars forever. I used to sell them a lifetime ago. they had a very beautiful sound quality that stood out. Find a dealer and check them out. The Yaeri's were particularly nice.

I think that asking advice about a #&%!$ing tent is pretty dangerous on this site.

Laying one out soft and easy about a guitar is like inviting Attila the Hun to the family BBQ.

Sigma is a guitar made by the Martin Company and you can find one in almost any pawnshop. The are an excellent choice and iffin they are taken care of they get even sweeter with time!

My pa really liked my Brother's Simon and Patrick... I was thinking of picking up another one for his upcomming Bday but I ran across that Martin. Here is the listing exactly:

Taylor 110-GB dreadnaught acoustic, no pickup. Gold Grover tuners. Ebony tuning keys, truss rod cover, and bridge pins. A couple of small dings on the back but a very solid 9.5 of 10. The neck tunes and plays flawlessly. Action is low but even a very aggresive attack will not cause fret buzz. Kept properly humidified. Includes nice generic hardshell case that fits.

BTW I have the stock tuners and gold grover tuner keys to include. I'll also throw in 3 sets of strings and a new Fender strap. $365.00 shipped!!

That don't sound bad.

Simon and Patrick are nice.
They are among a family of guitars from Godin in Quebec.
Other brands are Seagull and Norman and La Patrie and Art & Lutherie.
Some are made from native Quebec woods.

I mentioned in the coffee shop this morning that I was in the market for a guitar. A guy sitting next to me at the counter gave me his, for free. He's going to bring it in Friday. I have no idea of what kind, quality, etc, but can guarantee that I won't know the difference. Free is good. I think it's a three string model.

Go for the Taylor 310...costs twice as much but is a much better sounding guitar.

And be sure to only get three strings on it. Six strings will ruin the fretboard.

First you have to ask: What shoes would go with that guitar?
