It's good to have you back. Have been watching your weather and it seems to have been a mild fall in your territory.

I just returned from two more months in GSMNP. But I'm getting slower and starting to feel my age. You may have seen the following strings. If not, they should bring you up to date.

You've been a busy boy. Yeah, the weather has been mild for November. I was hoping for some of that since it was winter when I left here for my thru hike, winter when I got to Georgia and damned near winter while in Maine. It's good to be back and, now, if I just get rid of whatever attacked me in Maine.

Thought that you would have a doctor's report by now. Good luck with it.

I experienced some snow flurries at low levels and near Newfound Gap before leaving for home. My hiking was slowed down by car repairs for last year's hurricane damages and some other maintenance. My knees are going, it appears. I could use a walker for the first 10-20 steps each morning and after sitting for a while. Standing still causes the knees to lock-up, too.
