ya know, we could always do a NJ overnighter and do a stretch with granola dude and that spindlebabe. They're hiking north to south so it would be a longer drive for some of ya's, but Wawayanda to NJ23 at High Point would be about 27 miles.”

Saturday's hike would be about 13 miles. You can park in Wawayanda State Park and the shelter is only a few minutes walk. If we got up early enough, we could scare Spindle and NG. ;O)

Sunday's hike to NJ23 is only 14 miles. We'll just get up early and hike like mofos if you need to get out early. Other than that, there's a parking pullout on NY284, which would only be a 4 mile hike. Pete and I started from 284 at midnight and hiked up to the Pochuck Mt Shelter. That was a cool night hike.

The trail crosses NJ519 and another road, which can shorten the Sun hike, but I don't know about the parking reliability. I like the 23 parking area because it's an established AT parking area.”
