CIA wants to talk to me?!?View Messages“I had both the CIA and FBI one and thank god Hotmail has virus scanner and told me not to open the attachment.” 2:36:07 PM 11/22/05 “I knew Norton would not open anything with a virus in it...I also suspected it was a scam as those dudes that belong to governmental organizations, known best by initials, do not usually mess with you via email...just thought I'd share this Thanksgiving and give those naive souls a heads up... Ten minutes before finding the original email I discovered our basement swimming in water. I have since discovered it could cost $2500 and we don't have that kind of money..it involves our well...dealing with the CIA or FBI would've been some much needed light relief...” 8:37:22 AM 11/23/05 “Sell the place quickly. Property on water has added value! LOL. last edited: 11/23/05 8:51:25 AM” 8:50:30 AM 11/23/05 “Yeah, but property IN water is worth #&%!$..the #&%!$ is, we had to turn the well off so we have no water and it's November in Wisconsin (temps in the 20's)...” 10:02:24 AM 11/23/05 “Good luck getting it fixed. It could be worse. After I separated in Minnesota, the pump for the septic system went out. My wife kept using the toilets and the basement became flooded. The plumbers did not want to monkey with it(in December) unless we dug up the pump. After renting a pump and emptying the basement, I tried digging in the front yard where the grass was usually the greenest, but the ground was frozen. Finally, the city got in on it and forced the owner to obtain repair services. It turned out that I had been digging real close to where the pump was buried. FYI, the house was a large, ranch-type home. It was an expensive place, originally build and owned by a telephone company president or vice-president. It was in the middle of 9.5 acres on a hill top overlooking White Bear Lake and was not yet hooked up to city utilities. Well, anyway, I hope knowing that things could be worse will cheer you a little. I feel for what you are experiencing. I know that it is not pleasant. But, it will eventually, be fixed and things will return to normal. In the meantime, good luck.” 10:21:54 AM 11/23/05 “Thanks, nowslimmer...our problem is the house is so shaky that the water dudes are afraid to dig near the foundation...they're afraid the house will fall over! that and we are grandfathered in and fixing the line will supposedly negate that...” 10:35:06 AM 11/23/05 “oh man! Sorry to hear that matahari. Someone recently told me that good things come to good hearted people and you're good people. Something good has got to be coming your way soon! Hang in there.” 11:41:50 AM 11/23/05
