Freezer Bag Cooking: Trail Food Made Simple
As soon as we do the final changes, we are taking the book live. The book has turned out well beyond any of my hopes and dreams. My boyfriend has done an excellent job as my (cruel) editor ;-)
I am so excited. Today is the one year aniversary of my website also.

Awesome! I didn't even realize you were working on a book. I'll be first in line!

Awesome!

You should hire a pro to tidy up that website. With some cross-marketing you could do real well w/ this book.

Hey Sarge....in case you haven't noticed..the website is free ;-) Ie...run on donations and paid up for quite some time ;-) I ain't paying anyone to do something that is a work of love..lol! Sure it COULD look better, but hey...once a month when I have time, I get in there and try to tidy it up more. Today it did get a major sweeping.
The book is just icing-a year of hiking recipes. It will be on Amazon and thru my site.
What I'd truly love to do next is a cookbook for outdoorsy people on low sodium diets. That's why I love the internet-I'll find an audience ;-)

So far a search of your name on Amazon says "Did you mean Sara Sven" and turns up a dozen hits for Conan the Barbarian.

The book isn't live yet. It won't go live till we turn it on ;-) Anyhoo, the ISBN number is how you find books on Amazon the easiest ;-)
Most likely tommorow it will go live...my editor is doing the last fine tuning tonight.

sarbar1 - I bet some TT website gurus would hook you up for free.

PS - I read Conan the Barbarian several times.

So what is the working title of your next book?

USA...it is going to be a cookbook for low sodium & heart healthy outdoor cooking (both freezerbag style and regular pan cooking, for hiking, kayaking etc). An obscure audience I know..but hey, I'll slap it up on the website ;-)

Sarge..see my editor is a tech guy ;-) He is like the woman married to a cobbler...he ain't got no desire to do it when he gets home ;-)

And no, I am not getting rid of my dorky freezer box logo-one of the guys on the bp.com forums made that for me..too dorky and too cool ;-)

That's cool that you are taking the sentimental approach.

Good luck with the book.
