I did a few canoeing trips over the summer, that's it.”

“I did a 25 miler in Shenandoah back in May also. Did a conoe trip with the rug rats in October (overnight) and one winter hike back in March of this year.”

Not yet an ultralighter. On long weekends I usually carry about 25 - 30 lbs. in mild conditions including 2 1/2 litres of water. Do the tarp thing most of the time and I use big ole clunky heavy boots. I broke my ankle playing highschool football about 20 years ago so I need the extra support.
