My host is peed at me!!!

“I just canceled my 'old' host. I paid them almost $50 per month for almost 7 years or so.

For the last 5 or even more month I am debating if I should switch to a cheaper host. I mean there plenty of them out there. I found a VERY reliable one for $100 per YEAR. It came highly recommended. I signed up with them today.

Now my old host is pretty damn pissed at me for not calling them and discusing this. I mean come on!! I never even thought that they would match the $100/year price. I actually still dont' think they would.

I still feel guilty. Took me long enough to switch [which is actually my $$$ loss. if i would've decided sooner I wouldn't had to pay the $50 per month right?? And damn...it not like they felt bad charging me $50 per month if there plenty of cheaper hosts out there]

I changed the plan to a much cheaper plan, I thought I would have to pay only $29...but NOOOO...they added this charge, that charge...and even charged me for switching plans. If they really cared about the long term relationship they had with you, they should have been forth coming and given you their best rate possible. Why should you have to call and ask them to please lower your bill.
