I love to do it. I usually get a cord delivered around this time to the house and spend all day Saturday and Sunday chopping it up into smaller pieces.”

Overwhelmed by the dark. By the sense of comraderie. By the bonds formed by the common struggle. Then. And there. At 2:00am in the pitch black. Birch bursts in to song.
