Mom's Coming to Visit - Aack!

Remodeling of spare bedroom and new bathroom just finished yesterday - aack!

Hasn't been here in about 3 years - aack!

Has never actually stayed with us - aack!

“Abandon the house! Leave lots of mail bulging out of the box and sixteen newspapers on the front steps!”

“I can just see Boulder giving his best buddy his porn until mom goes back home. LOL!”

“Isn't taking care of Grandma Bowlderson's job while you and Mrs. Bowlderman go out Christmas shopping or something?”

“So my options appear to be:

1. Let Mr. Hyde "watch" her.

2. Something alcohol-related, although the suggestion wasn't clear whether I ingest it, I serve it to her, or both.

3. Invite her (and, presumably, Dad) to move back to the area - indeed, to our street.

4. Run away.

5. Use the blowhorn.

6. Let BowlderSon "watch" her.

OK, these are some good options, and some of them could even be combined, like get drunk, lock her up with Mr. Hyde and BowlderSon, then go shopping!”

“when mine comes i make sure every minute of the day is planned with something, that way you don't have to make small talk and at the end of the day she's tired and just wants to go to bed when you get home”

Take her to Loon Lake and strap her to a snowboard.

“Survived morning. Breakfast at diner. Tour of BowlderSon's school. Toured town. Fixed door broken by mom. Shopped. Lunch. Now it's naptime. More later....”

“How long is she staying? If it's anything less than a month you'll get NO sympathy from me.
My Mom comes down and stays for a month; this year she's talking 2 months! AACK!!!”
