“i thought "kings" was freaking awesome. excellent acting, complex characters, intriguing plot, lots of biblical symbolism

the premise is sort of a modern day king david (of the bible) story. it is set in the fictional country of gilboa, with a modern day king who rules with absolute authority (or appears to), and all the political behind the scenes stuff.
