Has Anyone Actually Met Sarge

“Ok, so this is a "backpacking" website right?, at least I think it is. People use this site to plan and go on trips.

So, has anyone actually gone on a trip with Sarge? Can someone who has actually met him show up and vouch for him in real life? Is the Sarge of the internet the same as the Sarge in real life? Not antagonizing, just asking.”

Anyway. When mjc told me zombie put him on ignore I decided to "test" zombie. All this required was me treating him like he does almost everyone else here. Plus, I added the troll picture.

I think it took about 6 posts for him to put me on the list.”

“A few years ago I posted that I felt everyone should have to go on at least one TT Hike to qualify for posting on TT. Since my knees are bothering me now, I would change that to at least appearing at a trailhead to meet some TT Hikers or attending a TT function.”

Anyway, all this stuff just adds to the mix, I guess. I certainly have contributed to the non-backpacking conversations at times. But I have decided today to utilize the ignore option for the first time ever on TT. That should take care of that problem.

While we can ignore someone or choose to not read a thread, it's Matt who I feel sorry for. He has to wade through all the garbage.
