“Add one more. Total 31. Saturday night at the Krueger Rec Unit campground of the Richard J. Dorer State Forest. Very warm. Left half the fly pulled back on the mesh tent to watch the stars and the one-day-past-full moon as it moved across the sky. The low around 7 a.m. was 56. Superb!!! And nice fall colors... not great, but nice.”

“Add one more. 32. Saturday night camping at Lake Hendricks, Riceville, Iowa, after a 30-count geo-"Cache-a-thon." Lotsa fun, free food, free t-shirt and meeting a couple that's going to go on their first backpacking trip in January. I'm referring them here. (Am I NUTS??!?!? LOL)”

We are probably going to hit either the Turkey Creek trail in S.C. or a trail at Bussey Point off Clarks Hill (Strom Thurmond) Lake on the 18th....FINALLY Hiking, backpacking...and FUN!.”
