Mill Creek Tr, GWNF, VA info sought

“I am considering either a day hike and/or backpack trip in the Pedlar Ranger District of the GWNF, VA. The main loop would involve the Tory Ridge Tr and possibly the Mill Creek Tr. I can't find much info on the Mill Creek Trail. I believe the valley was logged about 5 years ago. Is this so? Was it a clear cut or thinning? Is the trail still there and worthy of hiking? Since Tory Ridge is high, dry and narrow I would probably want to camp along Mill Creek if I do a backpack. Are there any established campsites suitable for groups of 6-10 people? Photos?
