Cat Owner Turns to DNA in Pet Whodunit, but Case Isn't Closed.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/01/08/AR2006010801330.html

Ok, basic story, cat gets killed, cat owner uses DNA to prove neighbors dog did it. She wants to get the neighbors adopted German Shepherd mix declared dangerous.

Does a dog killing a cat make it dangerous, or is it a natural thing?

I know my dog sees cats much in the same way he sees squirrels, and nothing I do will change that.

Dog killing cat might be considered a blessing.

Front page????

Probably only considered dangerous if it left the confines of its yard to kill the cat.

Poor little kitty....but what the heck, a dog's gotta eat. Who forks out that cash for a DNA test on a dead cat anyway?

It's destruction of property at the least.
