All remarks posted to Trail Talk are considered the thoughts and opinions of the original poster and not thebackpacker.com.

That means that if you post something on TT, you are responsible for the consequences, not thebackpacker.com. thebackpacker.com is located in the United States, so all US laws regarding online free speech apply to this website.

“Some of you are probably asking why I am posting this now. Over the years, I have had people critize me for my "censorship" on TT. Most people have seen that I have a faily hands off approach. Whenever I do change postings on TT, it is only after a lot of thought. I respect peoples right to post their opinions, even if they are different than mine. My actions are done to promote the TT community as a whole. Sometimes, this means that individuals may be offended or get their feelings hurt because of content on TT. People may even leave TT because they don't like what they read on TT. I don't like for people to leave TT, but it is their right if they so choose. Just like it is everyone's right to stay and read.

So in summary. I'm sorry if people get their feelings hurt, but I often have to weigh the rights of one individual versus the rights of the whole group and determine the best solution.”

I'm unable to get all the trolls on my list. Recently I did find space for two additional names. If you provided that space, thank you. However, I could easily double the number of names, if you were to provide the space.
