Nothing tops off a hiking trip better then making it through the weekend w/o having to dig a hole. And that goes double for those cold weather trips. Digging and using a hole is one thing... doing it in the freezing cold or rain is the worst.

...and in other news, the Opelika sewer system backed up today, bursting a main sewer pipe, and causing raw sewage to back into homes all through Opelika. Damage is said to be in the hundreds of dollars. Officials are unsure what caused the backup.

Yeah, but taking a dump in Stove Stomper's pack does actually count either.

I've gone a week before. I was feeling quite "septic".

bit - you're right, blowing out Opelika's sewer system might only do hundreds of dollars in damage. Indoor/outdoor carpet is easy to clean.

Not cleaning your pipes regularly is a main cause of Diverticulitis later in life. Remember this when they cut some of your corroded pipes out.

I clean my pipes several times a day, no matter where I am.

Real backpackers know that there is no better feeling than taking a sh*t in the woods.

So much for ultra-lite.

I want my pipes to function once a day everyday especially on a backpacking trip. Can't aford the extra weight.
