Actually I start lot more backpacking threads than fuego/chatter threads - it's just that the fuego/chatter threads float a lot better (the gear ones usually sink like stones).

I just finished the article on this in NG Adventure. Good article. Think about how many batteries you'd have to haul for a 2 month trip.

40 below, 3 hours of daylight is my record for tent camping. 20 below and 4 hours ski camping.
