coffeetraders its a brand of coffee from out in montana. They have regular to huckleberry flavored coffee. I like it alot.

Of course maybe its just because I like Montana alot. My next shipment I get in I'll send you a sample. Do you want whole beans or would you like me to grind them for you?

The Millstone stuff at the store's not bad. Surprisingly one of my favorites is the Chuck Full'a Nuts from the store.

coffee
don't worry about buying anything expensive. go to the grocery store buy whole beans, and grind the beans when you want coffee. It makes for fresher coffee. add a pinch of salt before you brew. Try a french press. That's all I use. No bitter taste ever. I buy cheap meijer beans.

Allegro. It's FTC coffee.

Non-FTC coffee is as evil as you get.

Here's a little education I got from my wife, a professional barrista. There is a big difference in the beans. The best coffee is arabica bean. The cheap stuff is robusto bean.

Arabica is grown in the mountains, has a smoother taste, less acidic, less caffeine. Robusto is grown in the jungle, is much more plentiful, is acidic and has a high caffeine content.

Coffee that is 100% arabica bean says so on the label - it's something to brag about. Most coffee says it's a blend on the label, which means they use some arabica for flavor and cut it with the cheaper robusto beans.

We got a #10 can of ground arabica for church from Sam's (the distinctive Member's Mark brand) and it was surprisingly good. I thought it tasted a lot like fresh ground Starbucks House Blend. So the brand doesn't matter as much as the origin of the bean. Look for some 100% arabica coffee and let us know how you like it.

Coffee
Ever try the coffee with chickory (favorite is New Orleans brand) and blend it 1 for 1 with a general store brand. Nice and strong.

But of course the best coffee in the world is at my department headquarters.

I don't drink coffee, but I think what a person likes can be very different from person to person to an extent amongst the better brands.

I know my mother-in-law's husband used to get coffee beans from the regular grocery store and make his own blend using two different kinds of beans. I don't know what they were.

I don't know of one that has won more awards than this one. They sample it around the office from time to time. Unfortunately, not exactly affordable.

Sorry 'bout the rant, but Starbucks sucks and is almost undrinkable by anyone who has enjoyed an excellent cup of coffee. I cannot figure out how anyone can market such a poor product and be so successful. The only thing it has going for it is that its trendy and smells nice. Has anyone ever looked how pitiful their beans appear? I'm certainly not a coffee connoisseur, but I can tell a good cup from a bad one. Their stuff is stale, over roasted, bitter, and leaves a nasty coating on my tongue. I guess you could say its different, yes but also foul.

She got pissy when they wouldn't take back what she considered "bad coffee". She tried to get Jerry to buy all her coffee but Newman found out and now they are both banned from the deli.
