Father Punches Teacher's Aide Accused Of MolestingView Messages“"Father Punches Teacher's Aide Accused Of Molesting His Daughter" "A verbal exchange became heated, and 'I lost control,' he said. He spent about 10 hours in jail and got out later Tuesday after posting bond. The Tampa radio station that named him 'Father of the Year' ..." I wonder how much self-control I wouild have in such a situation. Could you control yourself?” 12:10:07 PM 1/26/06 “I could control myself. I would have made a controlled direct hit on the teacher aid's face.” 12:12:49 PM 1/26/06 “I wasn't there, but I could imagine circumstances where I'd have an extremely strong urge to deck the guy.” 12:14:37 PM 1/26/06 “I've often wondered why this doesn't happen more often.” 12:16:12 PM 1/26/06 “What if he's innocent? I imagine his life may be over as he knows it. And, for all you master baiters, if he's guilty may he rot in hell.” 12:23:13 PM 1/26/06 “I agree with bm. It's way too easy to accuse someone. He may be innocent. We all know teen girls never lie. ;-) last edited: 1/26/06 12:26:46 PM” 12:25:33 PM 1/26/06 “I grew up with a girl that accused our 7th grade history teacher of touching her. He committed suicide. In high school she admitted that he never touched her.” 12:25:55 PM 1/26/06 “Right. Punch first- ask questions later.” 12:27:46 PM 1/26/06 “We weren't there, but anyone who is a parent can understand the strong urge you would have to deck the SOB. I'm guessing there was something in the "heated exchange" that led to the father doing what he did. And, it wasn't just the one girl who had accused him, but there were others as well.” 12:31:03 PM 1/26/06 “Right. Punch first- ask questions later.” aero 12:27:46 PM 1/26/06 At least he's consistant with the Republican Party Policy.” 12:32:45 PM 1/26/06 “BB, please keep the Fuego on the Fuego threads.” 12:34:07 PM 1/26/06 “A group of teens accussed a teacher in my area. The story fell apart after one confessed. Apparently, they were "mad" at the teacher. I can understand decking the teacher if it was my daughter. Not sure if I would have sought him out, though. Fearing what I might do.” 12:35:52 PM 1/26/06 “hmmmm, would a father punch a female teacher for molesting his son???” 12:38:47 PM 1/26/06 “A quick blast from one of those high pressure paint cans, red of course, sprayed just under the chin will take weeks to wear off and the offender will be readily recognized by whoever he/she comes in contact with!” 12:39:19 PM 1/26/06 “You're right Zac, sorry. I honestly can't believe that the aide was still working at the school. Here in Ohio, it's mandatory that the employee goes on an unpaid leave until the school does an internal investigation into the matter. It sounds like the school's managers dropped the ball, leading to the altercation. This is disturbing: "The Tampa radio station that named him "Father of the Year" offered him and his family tickets for the Daytona 500 race." Why does this type of violence need to be promoted, and rewarded with friggin' NASCAR tiks?! Heck, regardless of what the outcome, both of these families lives are going to suffer. It's reprehesible that some idiots commerialize anothers pain and suffering to gain more customers.” 12:44:34 PM 1/26/06 “When my youngest was in 8th grade I noticed a "scrape" on his chin one day. "David *#$#%^*&^($@ hit me." I went in un-announced to meet the principal and told her that I would do whatever I have to do to see that this did not happen again including bringing the county police into it. We arranged to meet the kid and his mom. Where is the father? Not around much.....divorced and absent......NOT MY PROBLEM!!! I was out when they came over to meet with us. I really wanted to look this kid in the eye, too bad. These kids are now in 10th grade and the kid has since been removed from the high school FOR FIGHTING!!! I really wanted to impress upon the kid that I would do what ever I have to do........” 1:03:16 PM 1/26/06 “This article helps to illustrate why I don't trust newspapers and most of the media. Newspapers try to make money. The information printed is intended to do this, overshadowing the objective of reporting the news. 1. The first line of the article sets the tone. "An angry father who marched into a classroom and punched a teacher's assistant in the face ..."But there is a contradiction between this statement and one that appears later. "A verbal exchange became heated, and "I lost control," he said"So did he really just barge into the classroom and punch the guy or try to talk with him first? 2. Next, there appears to be information missing. I entertained questions after reading the following: a. "Because of the allegation, the school placed the assistant on paid leave Tuesday, school district spokeswoman Margi Nanney said."What is missing is: 1. Was the school notified before the meeting? 2. Was a meeting set-up at a specified time? 3. If so, who was to be at the meeting? Was the teacher's aid scheduled to be there? It appears that the man expected to see the aid at the meeting. This seems to imply that the meeting was pre-arranged and that the teacher's aid was expected to be there. 4. Was the teacher's aid teaching in a classroom? Was he qualified to teach? 5. Is the school using unqualified people to teach? 6. Had other students complained to the administration, or were these comments from the man's daughter? This sure requires some clarification. Now, do you understand my distrust of newspapers? One further question, Is the writer of this A/P article still employed to write more articles like this one? last edited: 1/26/06 2:00:27 PM” 1:50:39 PM 1/26/06 “NS - nice breakdown. I can tell you, that when schools conduct investigations into allegations like these, they keep both parties seperate, for the exact reason of what happened here. Which should have been communicated with the parent. Also, the aide should have been removed immediately after the allegation was filed, and reinstated if the investigation cleared him. Now if management screwed up here, expect a lawsuit.” 1:55:43 PM 1/26/06 “His primary job is "time-out" teacher, overseeing in-school suspension. White flags should have popped up all over the place. The girl(s) were probably in this 'class' for suspension.” 2:01:36 PM 1/26/06 “If true I'd deck the guy. As far as female teacher touching my boy (when I have one) I'd have to see the teacher first lol.” 2:09:12 PM 1/26/06 “it's very interesting that the teaching aide hasn't been charged and was allowed to continue to be in the school. It seems apparent what the teachers think of the allegations. "My daughter wouldn't lie to me," seems like there's little other evidence to support this claim. Usually when people have to quote this line they have doubts about it themselves. My mother was a teacher, and the amount of times parents were brought in and used this line, when the kid had done something. Parents are not always the best people to decide on the honesty of their kid, when challenged by an outsider families naturally close ranks. The guy says he's not proud of what he did, then goes on to say everybody should do this and it would scare the pedaphiles away????” 2:15:42 PM 1/26/06 “I would do whatever I have to do to see that this did not happen again including bringing the county police into it. MarkO, this says a lot about you.” 2:23:29 PM 1/26/06 “My mom told me yesterday that one of the high profile pediphile priests that went to jail was killed my an inmate.” 2:24:54 PM 1/26/06 “Do tell, Mutt! And your quips say a lot about you, sweetheart. last edited: 1/26/06 2:49:01 PM” 2:39:51 PM 1/26/06 “My guess is his union will have him back on the job by Monday, his attorneys will make the girl out to be a whore in court and he'll live to molest another day.” 2:42:08 PM 1/26/06 “Oh you're just doing the Liberal Parenting thing, Marko. In other words, not letting him develop self-preservation skills by totally handling it yourself. I suppose it's the same phenomenon of today's college students who have their mommy and daddy intervene in any and all problems at school. Calling the police because your kid got clocked once? That's the kind of damage that liberals have done to society. You should be teaching your kid how to handle situations like that like a man, not how to be a whiney little b1tch who relies on authority for protection.” 2:48:27 PM 1/26/06 “Mutt, I told my boys from the beginning that if anyone picked on them or touched/hit them in any un-wanted way that I would make it stop. It finally happened with number three and I did what I had to do and I didn't need advice from a passive/aggressive butch like you. I didn't call the police, I told the principal that I would if I had to. A man avoids physical fights. If you like I could tutor you on being a man. Aw, forget it.....you're on your own, Nancy. "You should be teaching your kid how to handle situations like that like a man...." You should not presume to tell others how to handle their family life. You do your job and I'll do mine, pencil-neck. The kid in question must be your kind of "man", one who handles things with physical aggression. In your case the physical aggression is all talk. last edited: 1/26/06 3:08:38 PM” 3:05:04 PM 1/26/06 “School admins are chicken #&%!$ do-gooders. When my daughter was in 5th grade in a mostly minority school (lot of walker students from the nearby 'public housing') there was a gang of girls that couldn't care less about aducation and just tried to rule over the other kids. They were both verbally and physically abusive to other students and because my daughter would often stand up for other kids getting picked on she often got the brunt of their aggression. We, and other parents, complained to the school on several occasions, but little was done about it. I understand the reasoning, what can they really do to discipline kids who don't give a damn about discipline but suspend them? Then they get to sit around in a house in the projects all day doing nothing with other people doing nothing. They don't get educated , well they do, but not by influences we would want them to emulate. After one occasion when my daughter was given a verbal reprimand (and a note sent home) by a teacher for standing up for herself, I went to the school and told the principle and vice principle that my daughter had my permission to defend herself from the gang of girls that the school would not control and that if the school suspended my daughter for her actions I would take a day off of work and take her out to the movies and ice cream so she wouldn't feel as if she was being punished. I also told them that if they didn't take action immediately to make teh school a safe learning environment that would take my concerns to teh school board. I don't know if it was my action, or if it was something already in the works, but within a couple days they suspended one girl and broke the rest up into different classes.” 3:05:16 PM 1/26/06 “Y2 - I already pointed out that something is wrong with this article starting with the first sentence. Then there are the possible questions as to how many allegations were made, by whom, to whom, when and what was done about them. A good reporter would have been checking out such facts. There is a statement, "the school placed the assistant on paid leave Tuesday." This appears to have been missed when you stated. "was allowed to continue to be in the school." One problem is that the author of the article did not give a time sequence of the events mentioned. Again, may I repeat that I distrust newspapers. When I see an article, my conclusion is that something may have or may not have happened to cause this article to appear. And the article may be unrelated to such event or non-event. Worse than this situation is the fact that others may try to justify their position on other matters by giving references to articles such as this one.” 3:06:43 PM 1/26/06 “School admins are chicken #&%!$ do-gooders. So true. Good for you Hyway, and your little girl!” 3:09:29 PM 1/26/06 “way to go hyway...............cudos” 3:13:02 PM 1/26/06 “nowslimmer - I have seem first hand a couple of things that have landed in the newspaper the next day. In both cases, the reporter did not do a good job of it. They were about half fact, half opinion, both published as 'news'. I never trust an underpaid overworked reporter to get a story correct. last edited: 1/26/06 3:14:24 PM” 3:13:49 PM 1/26/06 “A man avoids physical fights. Of course. But a man will also not back down at the first sign of aggression (i.e. run to daddy or the police with tears in their eyes) Further, when confronted with no choice, a man will engage in a fight. Hey, you teach your kids what you want, but just know you're doing them a disservice. And know that it's your hippy-dippy pacifist out-of-touch-with-reality parenting that's doing it.” 3:14:01 PM 1/26/06 “Yo mutt, do you have a "my kid beat up your honor student" bumper sticker? :)” 3:18:07 PM 1/26/06 “I went to the school and told the principle and vice principle that my daughter had my permission to defend herself from the gang of girls that the school would not control Learn from Hyway, MarkO. He empowers his kids instead of solving their problems for them. last edited: 1/26/06 3:23:07 PM” 3:19:42 PM 1/26/06 “LOL - I know I'm coming across that way, Hyway, but it's hard not to when standing next to someone like MarkO.” 3:21:40 PM 1/26/06 “"my kid beat up your honor student" bumper sticker? LOL I see a lot more of those than I would care to around my neck of the woods.” 3:23:49 PM 1/26/06 “You don't know me at all, you neo-nazi conquistadope out-of-touch-with-reality chicken hawk. "Further, when confronted with no choice, a man will engage in a fight." No schit Adolfo, and so will some women. Nobody ran to daddy with tears in his eyes. If you read what I wrote you would see that. I think my kid was concerned that I might break the other kid's neck and did not volunteer the information.” 3:24:23 PM 1/26/06 “I think my kid was concerned that I might break the other kid's neck and did not volunteer the information. I bet! He's obviously wary of your overbearing parenting and would like to handle his own problems without you being a hippy jerkoff.” 3:25:45 PM 1/26/06 “(p.s. - conquistadope - lol!)” 3:26:44 PM 1/26/06 “LOL, Damn, the testosterone is thick around here. Cmon, punch him in the eye already.........my bets on Mutt.......lol. Sorry, Mark0............. last edited: 1/26/06 3:31:07 PM” 3:29:59 PM 1/26/06 “Mutt, this has been little more than an opportunity for you to trot out your anti-liberal hogwash against one of your favorite targets. All your fantasy talk about my parenting just makes you look more like the chicken schit petty prick that you are. Now go and polish your handguns, boy!!” 3:30:05 PM 1/26/06 “chappy, you would lose your frock!!” 3:31:10 PM 1/26/06 “LOL, oops forgot myself there for a minute......” 3:32:23 PM 1/26/06 “Don't be such a nancy, MarkO. I havne't "targeted" you in quite awhile.” 3:32:33 PM 1/26/06 “You started it, Margaret.” 3:33:49 PM 1/26/06 “A bird in hand Is worth two in the bush But if you screw with a preacher You'll get kicked in the tush.... Burma Shave” 3:34:04 PM 1/26/06 “You can dish it out, but you can't take it, MarkO. (typical hippy liberal...) ;-)” 3:35:40 PM 1/26/06 “Nah, my bet's with MarkO - Mutt's a guy who's afraid to go out the house unless he's armed.” 3:35:58 PM 1/26/06 “LOL @ chappy” 3:36:36 PM 1/26/06
