Unfortunately, my lovely Mapleleaf is down with the flu. She's been praying to the porcelain god for tha past 24. Poor baby!

Today, I worked as usual in the morning. It was such a nice day, so after lunch, I went down to Greenwich Village and went to some old spots to reminisce. I went to the old Fillmore East site (it's a church now) and thought about some of the shows I saw there. I went to the freak shops on St. Marks Place. The general idea hasn't changed. Just different freaks (more piercings and tattoos) lol and just walked around. It was wonderful. Went back to the office and decided to go back out again. Went to the soup nazi and picked up some NE clam chowder for Maple. She held it down (I like happy endings).

Then, came home and had chinese food with my kiods. They gave me a nice homecoming. Nice day.. Mellow, too!

I haven't been posting during the day for a reason. Last week, I ran into a situation that I've yet to figure out. I couldn't get log on any sites that required a log-in. I could view tt, but can't log in. Can't log in for my bank site and can't pay my online bills. I called IT in Philadelphia. There were cool about helping me. But, they kinda mentioned that this was personal stuff. And. being that they couldn't figure it out with the basic trouble-shooting, that they can only go so far, being that it isn't official biz. I told them understood and thanked them. I also asked if maybe I was flagged or something. They said they couldn't tell me. But, I haven't gotten any flack from my bosses. So, I think it may be a glitch. Either way, I think it smart to lay low from the web.”

Filmore East site is now a home for a church...noooooo”

“Well, it's one of two buildings, next to each other. The other is a bank, I believe. But, the one I think it is is one of those 'not-so-run-of-the-mill' denomination churches. That building looks as if it housed a movie theater at some point. The Fillmore was nothing more than a large, converted movie theater. Seats went for $3.50, $4.50, and $5.50. Last show I saw there was Steppenwolf (2/6/71)”
