It's robotic. It does the work for you. At least, that's what it's supposed to do. Notice the look of exertion on my face in the pic.

I don't know how you stand in the thing, in terms of the center of gravity.

This is an add-on to the first post on this thread. The guy that invented that electricity-generating backpack is taking the weight-shifting concept to make another new pack (that looks a lot like the electric one). This new pack will reduce the energy needed to carry a pack by 40% since you won't be lifting the pack up several centimeters each time you take a step.
