Spring Bread
Hey all, I need some ideas. I'm planning on taking week and a half/two weeks off for a backpacking trip...somewhere (in March). Any ideas? I don't want to wade through 3 feet of snow, so I'm thinking somewhere south. Everglades, grand canyon...? Is anyone going on similar trip? Anyone want to join a couple guys on and adventure?

the everglades will be bug central.

the Smokies would be a good bet, or perhaps Big Bend, or somewhere in teh Southwest.

Good luck.

Who are you? Your information data page is almost blank! At least give us a better definition of your area of interest or is anywhere in the world OK for you. How 'bout Central America?

One Note:
Some school age peeps think anyone over 25 is old.
Just about all of us here are old by that definition. ;-)

Sorry, I didn't know there was profiles on this thing. I just signed up today. I'm not really prez of anything- just picked it.
I'm from Fort Wayne, Indiana. I went to the Smokies last year for S.B. - it was cold...we trucked through a foot of snow at Clingmans, and didn't see a whole lot of sunshine. I don't need sub-tropical, just..pleasant.
California seems a bit too far to drive for a week trip. TX sounds fun though.

Unless you're a tree hugging libby. We have enough of the vast left wing conspiracy here, thank you.

Or at least bring some babes along.

For Texas Trails ask Chappy at Hey, Chappy. He has lots of good, up to date information.
