Sadly, I don't think we will be seeing any part of Mister Earthenware.

regrettibly, something came up that weekend and I won't be able to make it all the way up to the Dack's. I still plan on getting out this weekend, but I'm going to stay closer to home. :(

Hey Mark!

NC, when are you coming to PA? I got some trips planned in May!

So far in May I think I only have the umpteenth annual Canadian river float. My son plays Little League most of April and May but I might be able to get away. Are they on the trips page?

yeah, they are good ones too!!!

there is the Black Forest Trail trip (the BFT is one of PA's finest Trails). that is a three day trip, the first weekend in May. Then there is the Devil's Path Trip in the middle of May. The Devils Path is in NY in the Catskill Mountains. That is an anual trip and is a lot fun. Finally, there is the Seven Mountains Backpacking adventure. This trip is a 5 day mega hike that will cover 83 miles of PA's most rugged topography, as well as some of the most scenic.

Speaking of the Long Trail, I plan to do the July 4th Buttkicker on the Long Trail this year.

I'll have to see how it fits my schedule, I know I have at least 2 possibly 3 trips planned for May. What section of the Long Trail are you going to be doing?”

cool Zac. The BFT is a great trail and I am looking forward to finally setting out and getting it done. Great climbs, vistas, scenery, waterfalls and campsites. IT's a trail that has it all.

As far as the long trail goes, I'd like to see about getting all of the 4k peaks in on the same trip. I'm waiting on the guide.

Killington will be the hard one because that one is a lot farther south than the other 4.

Zacky poo, you are not even qualified to carry my half full nalgene up the mountains. ;o)

Well... I sorta had a plan. I did a little research last summer when I was thinking about bagging all the Vermont 4k'ers in 1 bp trip. If I remember, it was around 65 miles, with a big gap between Killington and the others. I have the guide books and maps so I'll look into it again.

I'd suggest stayin in PA, but experts on another thread say that my state sucks and I live a sheltered life, so I guess we'll have to move on.
