“I was watching, well "watching," Boston Legal the other night. They had the girl who couldn't smile who was trying to get into a private school, which said it had every right to discriminate against anyone it wanted to.

Then I fell asleep and I woke up and she was in. How'd Alan Shores do it???!?”

He walked in the school guys office unannounced and explained how he understood that they were allowed to discriminate and it was no big deal. It was such a non issue that he brought his good friend from the local ABC station down so that it could be explained to her on camera. If you recall when talking to the school guy in the meeting Alan did say that he didn't play fair.

To me that show is a well written soap. It has all the cheesey drama but it still brings up good issues. The other case going was about a HS girl who was raped and the doc let his religous feeling get in the way of offering her the morning after pill.”

My wife loves Boston legal and the relationship between Shores and Shatner. Sometimes I enjoy watching it with her, sometimes I get impatient with it.”
