Who's up for a Jaunt on the Link TR this weekend?

“Pennsy and I are going to hike south on the Link Trail from Mapleton, PA to Three Springs, PA. The hike will be about 25 miles. The plan is to camp on Butler Knob next to the old Fire Tower.

This section of trail boasts some fine views, but rocky terrain typical of PA's ridge and valley.

We're meeting at the trailhead in Three Springs at 730am on Saturday morning. If I'm late, I'm later than 730, I'm going to bring coffee and donuts.”

“okay...what's with elevation? what are the temps going to be? It's so damn far...i'll need at least another $100 just for gas.... oh #&%!$ it....how is the elevation and the temps?”
