This is how they grow it in Tennessee . This grow was underneath a
house in a cave. The entrance was through a secret hydraulic door in the
garage that led to a concrete ramp that went about 50 yards into the
ground. Inside the cave was living quarters and a secret escape hatch that
led you through a tunnel that exited via another hydraulic door that
opened up a rock on the outside. It was very elaborate. The set up
allowed them to harvest every 60 days which resulted in multi-million
dollar sales. One of the guys busted was living in a house on the water
in FL and had a nice yacht. One of the agents here in Nashville worked on this for 5 years before the warrant was finally served in December.

After today on TT that whole crop's only worth a couple hundred bucks. The scare of legality has struck hard.

That's pretty awesome. I seem to recall that police sometimes look for home growers by using infrared sensors on helicopters and look for the heat signature emanating from basements. They also look for abnormally high electric bills. I imagine an operation like that one would use a separate generator.

I love the secret rock door. Sort of Hogan's Heros-ish.

That's funny looking "dirt" in those buckets. Is it instead a hydroponic medium?

And how did they get rid of the waste heat? That's a dead giveaway to the federales.

Here in Bama....
the growers fed the heat up under a pile of Manure on a horse farm...the heat was attributed to the breakdown of the manure....(They had an old Tractor Trailer buried underneath to hide the heat signature......).

That's clever - I know there's farmers who get at least some of their hot water from composting cow dung. Perfectly legit!

that rock is awesome.

if it was in a cave, might the sensors have not caught the heat? or maybe the sensors did find the heat, after all, they were working on these guys for over 5 years.

It would be downright funny if there was a second cave the feds didn't find, bigger than the first, that was still operating just a few yards away.....

Funny, from one of the closeups, it looks like the plants suffered from chlorosis.

I'm a gardener. I've had to deal with just about every bug, disease, and weird condition out there, all to try and have some sort of vegetable harvest out of the yard.
