It's all in tomorrow's weather forecast, with a quarter inch of ice the end result (okay, I lied about pestilence and locusts, but the rest is in the forecast).

Its about 75 degrees here in the NC foothills this afternoon, way to hot for this time of year for my liking, although not all that unusual.

Move north. We're supposed to get 2"-4" of snow and no rain or ice.

Anybody else notice it's the blue states getting the ice and snow?

Dang Lonesurveyor, it's warmer up there than it is here in NE Florida. BY about 4 degrees. ;)

Hey our 145 day drought was broken when we received 2" of Arizona rain which is one drop every 2", basically enough to leave tracks in the dust and smear the nice patina that everything's been collecting. I'd just washed my car, too.

Say, isn't that the postal service motto, "Neither rain nor sleet nor snow nor gloom of night, just money"

We're expecting up to 40 mph gusts of pestilence and 2-4 inches of locusts.

But so far it's only a watch, not a warning.

I don't need a pestilence watch. I've got a nice Casio with a four-barrel carb and whitewalls. It gets unlimited miles per gallon, never needs winding, gives barometric pressure, compass readings, altimeter, and stops on a dime.

So far we just got rain with some freezing, but the roads are generally clear. Hopefully it stays that way all day.

I've seen predictions of 2-5 and 4-8. I guess I'll know when it stops snowing.

That's how you ultimately find out. When it stops snowing, stick a ruler or yardstick in it!

We had one inch of snow so far, but it just changed to sleet.
