“Last season was great! If you missed the first few seasons, you missed a lot of background leading into this season. Well worth the DVD rental to catch up. I plan on getting the DVD set for myself.

“The wife and I have been watching this on DVD now. Great show. The thing that I don't get is they capped a cop in season one for being a rat and now every time the strike team pulls Vic off some dirtbag drug dealer and keep him from killing them I always say, "They whacked a cop in season one! What do they care about a damn thug?".”

FX always has good shows on at 10 pm on Tuesdays. They never use any "filler" shows, so there's always something happening.”

“Another great season so far this year. Michael Chiklis is awesome as Vic and the supporting cast is great too.

It is odd, Nigal, how they seem to know when it's "appropriate" to whack someone.....Vic must be some kind of super detective because he knows all the angles and isn't afraid to work them.”

“I actually do spend too much time on-line. I use it to take breaks from hiking (I live in the mountains) and I certainly don't want to watch a cop show. (I carry a badge for a living, but hope to retire in a few years) I'm building a house takes up a LOT of time) with my daughter & son & law, but I also go-on-line when I have to be quiet when I'm baby-sitting (often) my 2 grandkids when they nap. I have a little league game this evening (much better then tv to go to)and I go to work tonight. I built an armoire for my hiking stuff this past summer along with a fieldstone shed & metal roof open sided patio pavillion. I'm building a fireplace this summer if it ever stops raining for the (halfway dug)foundation hole. Sidewalks front & back. Yesterday, I had to dig up my septic tank & they pumped it last night. Repaired my Garden tractor & mowed a couple acres of grass. Bent up my tractors front bumper against the back wall of my stone shed so I designed,welded & painted up a new better one. People in general watch too much TV (IT isn't good) & if that offends you, I'm sorry (but I probably hit a sore point) just like somebody telling you to stop drinking or smoking. People still get offended but it's still good advice. If you have to live yopur life around a TV set (& trolling). You can take it or leave it, but since it bothers you & you strike out, it's a tender spot.”

“No, good advice is knowing when it's your place to give advice on how others choose to spend their time. I spend all day facing the grim realities of death each and every day. If I want to sit down with my wife over dinner with the tv on and talk about my day who the hell are you to judge that?
