“yesterday we picked up cookies - I started in the morning unloading the unit cookies, then loading each troop's cookies, then unloading my own troop's cookies, then loading my girl's cookies, then unloading my girl's cookies, and today, finally, we loaded and delivered the individual orders.
what a freakin' process.”

I know for sure I didn't order them from the girl scout making the rounds in your neighborhood, Sarge. Yikes! Those socks don't even match the skirt.

Yesterday, we went to a hardware store. They had a table set up with Girl Scout cookies, a few feet away from a fertilizer display. Imagine those cookies are going to taste a might like the lawn smells after its fertilized.”

“I think I got ripped off by a grifter, posing as a Scout Mother. She even had two little Scout age girls with her.

She asked for the money up front, and said she would bring the cookies later.

I only paid for one box, anyway.

NGB brought in 4 boxes last night and before I even knew what was happening, I had a handfull of lemonade cookies and was stuffing them in my mouth as fast as I could chew.

I just hated myself after I finished them off.”

“I think with all the cookies the girl scouts sell, they should do more - or at least let people know what they do.

I always hear of the Boy Scouts doing actual projects in the community - but they don't beg me for money.

“Sarge, I think you are just one of the lucky ones to never get nailed by the little buggers... it is actually a country wide huge program for the boy scouts. But they get A LOT more of the proceeds than the Girl Scouts do from their cookie sales.
