spring break in new mexico

“hey there, my girlfriend and i are planning on heading up to new mexico this spring break. we're thinking about hiking in the pecos wilderness. but, it looks like the weather is going to be very cold. is this place ok to do in the snow, or can it get pretty harsh? we plan on being there on tuesday and need to change any plans now. how about the ruidoso area? we'd like to get in the snow and some good mountain scenery. some fly fishing would be great too. is it just too early ofr all this? thanks.”
