Ok ok I'll bite. Lets say your car broke down in the middle of nowhere. Lets say this middle of nowhere there is no cell phone signal. About 20 or 30 cars have passed by you as you try and waive someone for help. Your just about to give up on anyone stopping when a Blue Ford Explorer stops and asks what's wrong and how can he help. Well you guessed it that guy would be me.

Not good enough for you ok lets try this one. Lets say your dieing from cancer. The only way out is to kill off the cancer with some intense chemotherapy. The only problem is in doing so you kill of your own immune system and your going to need a bone marrow transplant. Nobody in your family is a match so now you must rely on someone you've never met to step up to the plate and donate their bone marrow. Well I've not only done it but I've done it twice and now know a man who's life has been saved due to my actions. We keep in touch via email and phone calls and he went from certain death to playing and visiting his grandkids. If that doesn't make me somewhat of a decent person well I guess I'll never be.

Thats just a few examples off the top of my head.

“What nigal said I believe in Jesus and God. I believe in the bible but don't believe I need to spend every Sunday at church, or have to give money to support a church or to pay for my sins. That doesn't mean when I go to church I don't drop a few dollars in the collection tray. But I believe that my day to day actions in the long run will outweigh my sins and god will see that I've lived a good life.

I do what is right at the time it needs to be done. If one saves someones life and that life turns out to be the death of all humans you can't fault the guy alone that saved him. You must remember being decent doesn't look at the final outcome just the action that took place at that time.

Nothing proves nothing - no particular verse or story in the Bible can stand on its own merit, each could be myth or allegory but still not negating the overall message.

Now, to the subject at hand - xtianity's dubious claims go back centuries, with no corroborating proof. I'm first to say that I don't know for a fact the real truth behind xtianity/Jesus, but my position is sensible, backed up by social-psychology science, and widely researched.

Now, are you prepared to say you have no proof of the veracity of the bible? That the myth you believe may be wrong? That you're wrong to tell people it's the only path when you have no proof of it whatsoever?”
