Back to the campground for a last run-through. It's in amazingly good shape given the number of people there. What was surprising to me was the number of "invisible" campsites back in the woods and along the creek.”

I met local. He is planning to try to improve the camping area, etc. He would like suggestions on "Disabled Facilities." He was considering a special camping area, but I pointed out that most of the people would like to camp with their group. If you have any ideas that would help, please submit them to him. Thanks.”

“Supposedly, thats the same campsite where on Friday night a 15 yo boy passed out in someone's tent and the rescue squad had to come fetch him out. (actually, I think some hikers drug him up to the gate and passed him off to the cops).”

I whited out the female hiker there because she left the campsite Wednesday. The group came onto the site probably around Monday or Tuesday.”

I took the names off the site to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. But if they're here next year we will discuss things. They seemed to be good guys but something must have happened. I know the cops busted this site, so maybe they were not motivated to clean up.”

I was wearing a T-Shirt for a fishing boat called the Fish Witch which had a color pic of a naked chick right in the middle of the logo on the back of my shirt. I had forgotten all about it until the lady giving me the massage commented on it.”

Has your leg healed?”

“Leg still hurts a bit. Been walking since March, can almost run now, but it still hurts. The doc said to expect that for a year. Haven't been on any backpacking trips this year, just a couple car camping trips. Gonna try Yosemite in September, should be fun. Gem, I'll be checkin' back for your pics.”
