FTA-40 years

“tomorrow i'll head out to the florida trail association 40th anniversary conference. these days this is about the only type of trail activity i able to do, other than car camp. my knees are still bad and i'm still limping around. i've gotten use to the pain somewhat and i just keep plugging along with my projects around the home. i go back to the doctor in april and willsee what needs to be done next.”

“Likewise, I'm sorry, too, cyndeee. Sure wish your knees were feeling better. Mine are a little better, I think. At least I'm walking without the crutches. But it does get a little difficult at times. I've discovered a strong correlation between how my knees (and foot) feel and my pool game. While my legs feel better, I can shoot better. But as soon as any pain returns, I'm too anxious to shoot good. I just want to sit down again.

Have a good time at the FTA conference. Good luck with the doctor in April. My internist just says that one of these days I'll be back requesting the surgery on the one knee. I'm now 50+ pounds overweight. This does not help, either. My computer Internet service goes off tomorrow. That will help me to finish packing and get out of here and back to the GSMNP. I'll either return in better shape or be looking for the surgery.

“i left the conference this morning and had a really good time. i'm up in ocala at my cousins doing some work around the house for her. i only took a few pictures, not sure if i can post them from here or not.”
