Lightweight Javette coffee
My friend just recommended Javette coffee concentrate. It's a single-serving coffee concentrate that makes a good cup of coffee and you can alter the amount to make your coffee strong or mild. It lightweight and pretty pressure resistant and looks, smells, and tastes like good coffee. I've made hot coffee and great cold frappacinos with it.

It's will definitely come with me on all my backpacking trips!

Haven't heard of that before. If it comes in a light roast variety then I'm game to trying it.

The stuff is good..but is it odd that sampoole1 signed up to about every hiker/backpacker forum today to mention "their friend gave them some"? Kinda suspicious ;-)
Nothing wrong with touting a product, but at least be honest!!

how does it compare to One Fresh Cup taste wise. I know OFC cost less.

Liquid coffee concentrate. Wow, imagine the shooters one could make with that stuff.

I'd take a sample. I'd even pay for one cup's worth.

There's no way I'm going to spend $20 on coffee I may not like. That's two 2lb bags of beans!

This sucker is spamming the backpacking boards. It's a good enough reason to not buy the crap. If you're going to use boards for advertizing - pony up and pay for a friggin ad and support the site.

Also, get your friggin story straight sales-troll. Did a friend just recommend it, or have you been making hot coffee and cold frappuccinos with it?

Of course samfoole1 won't be back and this thread should get deleted.

If this sales spam annoys you, I suggest you tell them at:

In a moment of inspired procrastiantion (I've got tons of papers to grade), I googled a line from the spam pitch. S/he was doing this routine in September - when a friend had also "just recommended" his/her product.

As for me....I will stick with

Great filter, you add coffee grounds, put on the cup, pour in water. Just like the coffee maker at home. Plus the metal filter has nothing to throw away.

...and it's not even a good sales troll name...sampoole - sample?

Coffee concentrate just sounds nasty. I'll stick with brewing my own on the trail. My filter weighs less than an ounce and coffee doesn't weigh much either.

They use Coffee Concentrate at the Public Safety academy....I bring my own coffee maker.
