CHICAGO (AP) — Illinois Rep. Joe Walsh, the tea party-backed Republican who squeaked into office last year by vowing to bring fiscal responsibility to Washington and who has been one of President Barack Obama's most outspoken critics during the standoff over the debt ceiling, is being sued for more than $100,000 in unpaid child support,

New Jersey GOP lawmaker resigns after wife’s racist email

New Jersey lawmaker has resigned from office after his wife delivered a racially charged e-mail to possible campaign opponent and former Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis.

According to Politicker NJ, Republican Pat Delany decided to leave abruptly last month after his wife Jeanie sent an email to the Lewis campaign saying, “Imagine, not having to pay NJ state income taxes...It must be nice. Imagine getting a court ruling overturned so your name could get put on the ballot. Imagine having dark skin and name recognition and the nerve to think that equalled (sic) knowing something about politics. Sure, knowing someone with fat purse strings is nice, but you have no knowledge."

A California man alleges on a website that he was promised a car and other gifts following a paid sexual encounter with Medford’s mayor.

Mayor Chris Myers (R) vehemently denies the accusation.

Myers is the subject of a website started by the man who claims he was paid $500 for sex with the former congressional candidate from the 3rd District.

Classy, hillbillys!

A Halloween-themed email from the Loudoun County, Va., Republican Committee was swiftly condemned by conservative and liberal groups today for featuring an image of a ghoulish-looking President Obama with a bullet hole through his head.

Isn't it funny how rosey had no problems with calling for Palin's DEATH?

Actor Orlando Jones on Saturday celebrated the death of Libya's Moammar Gaddafi by taking to his Twitter account and calling for American liberals to kill Sarah Palin.

"Libyan Rebels kill Gaddafi, if American liberals want respect they better stop listening to Aretha & kill Sarah Palin"

Another Repuke who thinks he's above the law...BUSTED!

Texas state Rep. Joe Driver (R) will plead guilty to a third-degree felony on abuse-of-office charges, a prosecutor said Tuesday.

“He is going to plea to the third-degree felony,” Assistant Travis County District Attorney Gregg Cox told The Texas Tribune. “It is a plea of guilt.”

In a 2010 interview with The Associated Press, Driver admitted billing his campaign for luxury hotels, airline tickets and other travel expenses. He would then submit those same expenses to the state and pocket the money.

R Vs D is a distraction. While you idiots are bickering the bad guys are Planning and implementing your demise. Wake the F- bomb up. Snap out of it. This isn't a football game. Many on both sides will be completely caught flat footed.

Will you?

The Office of Congressional Ethics is investigating the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee over possible violations of insider-trading laws, according to individuals familiar with the case.

Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Ala.), who holds one of the most influential positions in the House, has been a frequent trader on Capitol Hill, buying stock options while overseeing the nation’s banking and financial services industries.
...
OCE investigators are examining whether Bachus violated Securities and Exchange Commission laws that prohibit individuals from trading stocks and options based on “material, non-public” inside information, said the individuals, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the matter. The office also is investigating whether Bachus violated congressional rules that prohibit members of Congress from using their public positions for private gain.

In recent years, Bachus has made numerous trades, some of them coinciding with major policy announcements by the federal government and industries under his congressional oversight, according to a review of his financial disclosure forms by The Washington Post.
