Pics from today's hike
I hope y'all enjoy the pics as much as we enjoyed the hike. It was our first for the year and we had a great time but it was cold.

Very nice pics. It's on my list but haven't made it in there yet.

How did you get to Sougdahoagee...follow the creek downstream from the lake?

Thanks for all the nice comments. We didn't come from the lake. We went in from a trailhead next to Brushy creek on FS255.

I didn't get any pics of the creek itself (I'm an idiot) but the water was deep and a beautuful almost-teal color.

We will go back to camp soon.

I tried to get into Sougdahoagee this Sunday but tried a more direct route down an old fire lane but had to stop at a 100 foot drop off about 500 feet from the falls. Could hear it but not see it :( It's hard to tell but I think I stood at the top of falls #5 and 6 from your pics.

I did drive on down to where 255 crosses the creek and you are correct, it is absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to take the yak up there.

And speaking of:

SuperTroll/SS - when you guys wanna get together and hit the Sipsey or Brushy (or both?) in our Carolinas one weekend?
