Some of you may have read about my Coleman Exponent Extreme stove which failed me by barely burning on my winter camping trip to Michigan's Pictured Rocks..well, when I bought the stove a decade ago I DID buy the trail maintenance kit..however, sometime during the last 10 years, the plastic bag fell apart losing half the components so I bought a new one and managed to decipher the directions enough to replace the filthy screen, gas tip, cam, finger plate and probe seal and it fired up like new! Now I know, replace screen every 10 years!

Good, now I won't have to wait as long for you to melt snow for my water, next year.

You can also bake me a cake while you're at it? LOL

I now own, ncthiker, a Steripen so I can sterilize the water you get through a hole in the ice without boiling it! HA!

How does the Steripen work, in cold water temps?
