A couple of nights ago someone mentioned that they were looking at a pack but the volume was listed in litres instead of cubic inches.

Well, I have set up a chart on my website that may be of assistance to some of you the next time you are shopping for a new pack.

Be sure to book mark it for future reference.

Or just go to google and type in

80 liters as cubic inches

and it tells you the answer.

Do you think the US will ever go metric? When all the american car companies are gone maybe we'll start thinking maybe we should. How many dry teaspoons in a bushel?

I think we should keep holding out for everyone else to go...non-metric. Or whatever we use! LOL.

It's already happening, sort of. For example, standard sizes for doors from Canadian manufactures is 203cm, because that converts to 6'-8".

Three french cooks in a small kitchen trying to figure out how many teaspoons in a pint.

The U.S. is only about 100 years behind everyone else.

Even the British changed!!

Or just multiply litres x 61.02 to get cubic inches.

Our state DOT (Caltrans) made a valiant attempt to go metric, but now they're going to switch back because hardly any of the local agencies switched.

South of Tucson the interstate is labelled in kilometers. I wonder if that's because it's so close to Mexico?

I say make everyone adopt the Firkin-Furlong-Fortnight system of measurement.
