“Was tempted to go for the quarter dome to lighten my pack weight, but figured I could leave behind all the pots and pans this way. Seems pretty nice. I'm excited to try it. Any advice on keeping it safe in your pack? Figured I'd stuff something inside.” 5:21:17 PM 4/03/06 “great stove, it's actually my goto 3 season stove. It's finally time to get it out again and I'm stoked. I just stick it in the lid of my pack and have never had any problems.” 7:09:58 PM 4/03/06 “I returned my gps (It just quit working) and got a new pair of hiking boots. I decided on the Montrail Torre GTX hikers. I also used my 20% coupon and still had some left over for down booties (on sale!) and I also needed a new Smokies Hiking Trials ( lost my other one). All that costs 8 bucks!” 7:17:46 PM 4/03/06 “how you been Karo? Iused my dividend and coupon on a new Marmot Arroyo.” 7:19:36 PM 4/03/06 Currahee “Been sick last week, but raring to go hikin now!” 7:30:24 PM 4/03/06 “good to hear.” 8:00:08 PM 4/03/06 “You are going to love it. I climbed Mt Adams with it last year and was the envy of camp. I just packed the fuel cannister inside itself and stuff it into my pack. As long as it doesn't move around your fine.” 10:02:41 PM 4/04/06 “I used mine last year on a weeklong trip to Cloud Peak in WY. I used it at least three times a day, sometimes more. Every morning I would brew up hot chocolate without leaving my bag. Then lunch and dinner. My hiking buddy used it a couple of times. I used a full cannister and very little of a second. When packing I put it in the side pocket of my pack (Gregory Whitney) and it rides just fine. This year for a CO trip two friends will buy jetboils of their own.” 2:35:28 AM 4/05/06
