Now here we have the best idea for a pack and chair combo I've seen yet!

StoveStomper will love this one! (so will Chili, and all the other drinkers out there who pack in the beer on those long hot hikes!)

Kinda think the "Feed the Hungry Hiker" group would find it useful as well...

“I've cached beer in coolers before hikes. This gives me an idea of rigging my pack and a pad to make a chair though.”

“Geez on our weekend backpacking trip we had .75 access to my cooler with a 24-pack of beer, carried in by Elementary1 and Novembertime.

However **I** had to hike that puppy out Sunday morning in the rain, with pack on back and it on front, WITH 14 CANS OF BEER STILL IN IT!!!!!

I guess I used to hang out with people who drank, make that inhaled, beer before. lol...

By the way, I am a tough chick to haul around that much beer, yoh! We also had wine, another 6-pack of 12-oz bottles and another 6-pack of 16-oz. bottles. We are all much too generous! lol”

Flash, when do you have some upcoming weekends open? I am gonna be a-plannin' a bunch o' spring trips, SE MN or NE IA. Likely something on the Upper Iowa northeast of Decorah... and sooner than later, since it's in an area where weeds make later treks nasty!”

I have a friend who hiked out beer after a trip to Sipsey......Rangers were searching hikers as they hiked out.....he went to jail......
