I always bring my Teva Terra Fis when I backpack or kayak. They've worn like iron.

Did you check out the Teva Wrapters on sale at Sierra Trading Post?

I bought a pair of the old style and I've waited two years for these new ones to come on sale.

They have more cushion than a pair of good running shoes. I love 'em.

Non sandal wearing people and non owners of Tevas have no idea how attatched you can get to your sandals. I recently went on a trip to Florida for work and couldn't find mine. I tore the house apart looking for them and was just entering a deep depression when I called a friend and asked if they were at their house. Luckily they were and I was happy again. My significant other just could not believe I was so worried about a pair of sandals... Some people just don't understand

Note to the wise. Never wear sandals on a bushwhack, unless you like having toenails ripped off your foot.

lz.....I should remember that myself LMAO....during the summer my feet are sooo torn up LOL!

add to your note: beware of walking through nettles as well.

Squirrelbait. I hear you. Thats how I was. Got all depressed about it too. All along my hubby knew where they were. They were deep in the dark pit under my dresser the whole time. THE ONLY place I hadnt looked. So, in retribution I fileted my husband with a rusty hatchet (I needed the iron) and had him for dinner.
