Second, at least I get off my butt and do hike. Sorry sarge, but you've been on the crip list far longer then anyone ive ever known. Hell ive had knee surgery and a broken ankle all at the same time and didnt remain away from the trail more then 5 months. Do you even walk at all? You are still a troll in my eyes, untill i see either a trip report (with pictures) or I actually know someone who's hiked with you (as I never plan to hike with you myself) So have a nice day and enjoy your walk from the computer to the fridge and try not to wear yourself out too much.

It's all relative Spirit. To me, I'm on injured reserve. What does that mean exactly? I walk 60 minutes a day. I am on the rower 30 minutes a day. I bike 40 minutes a day. I lift. I do martial arts. I just am slow going down hills - and if I run I eventually get sore. My phys therapist, who is the strength trainer/PT for the Hershey Bears hockey team, said I had one of the quickest recoveries he's ever seen, especially in my age group. Nevertheless, after knee surgery, it is common to take awhile before you can run again or train at a competetive level. One man's injured reserve is another man's marathon.
