I had the pleasure of working with one of my areas best, "unknown" musical directors, Fr. Ron Torina, from U of D Jesuit. He died two nights before opening night for the last production I did with them, "Fame" (U of D did the best production, high school or Pro, IMHO, of West Side). A truly great man, who is still missed very much.

Isn't it great when we have a chance to be around people like this? They are at the top of their profession and are good enough to be big time but there's a little part of you that hopes they don't so ya never have to lose them. Sorry for the loss but congrats on being able to work with him.

i think they are an outstanding band. i wouldnt count them as a guilty pleasure, at least not for me, because theyre exactly the kind of music i listen to. i love any good band that is a fusion of black and white styles (blues, r&b, and rock in their case)

gaga on the other hand, is NOT the kind of music i normally listen to. she may belong to the bubblegum pop genre, but has some definite creative chops

Birch, look up Dead Mau5 "Ghosts and Stuff(hard intro)" on youtube. It'll clear gaga right out of your head, and probably clear your sinuses if you have it loud enough.
