I've got the Komperell's Air-Shock COntour model. The bottom section of one of the poles will not screw back into the housing. Anybody have some relevant suggestions on how to repair it?

Usually when I've screwed them out too far and put them back in they'll grap and fit back into the housing, but not this time.

You can buy repair parts for Komperdell poles all over the place on the web. One of the pieces that holds the pole in place is prolly worn out. Here is one place but there are many, many and Google will dig them up:

I have don't have Komperdell poles and have never bought anything from this company.

Good luck!

My Komperdells do that same thing from time to time, and I've had good luck just cleaning the inside and outside of the poles when they're apart. Wash out the accumulated junk and they're like new.
