What Happened to The Indiana Crowd???

“I can't seem to find any Indiana Trips posted!!!!!. What’s the deal? The only one I can find is for the Low Gap Trail and it’s on during the weekdays. Hmmm, I know it’s a lotta work posting and planning a good trip, but I be up for even a poorly planned weekend thing. Better hurry as the bugs are coming on fast!!
I am gonna do the Pate Hollow trail this weekend if anybody wants to try that.

“You have to admit with Kentucky, Tenn. , Michigan and even parts of southern Illinois and Ohio, Indiana seems a little boring but for convenience the southern half of Indiana is sure nice having close to home. I love my home state.”

“I am thinking about doing the Adventure trail some time this summer or maybe early fall. It is just N/E of Louisville. This is a pretty trail (though seldom used and poorly marked), but there is NO water on it. That is why I'm still not sure about it. I did a portion of it last summer, and would like to do the whole thing if there is anyone interested in going with me.”

“Man celebrating jail release arrested

OGDEN DUNES, Ind. (AP) -- A man celebrating his release from jail was arrested on a South Shore train for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.

Northern Indiana Commuter Transportation District police arrested John A. McKenzie, 32, of Chicago, on the train headed to South Bend Tuesday night.

McKenzie was drunk as he rode the northern Indiana commuter line with his wife and three children, following his release from a Chicago jail, police said.

Another passenger reported McKenzie to officers after he allegedly swiped a beer from him, police said.

An argument erupted, and police from NICTD, Ogden Dunes and Burns Harbor arrived to take McKenzie into custody after he made repeated death threats to the officers, police said.

McKenzie remained in the Porter County Jail Thursday, a jail officer said”
