Alcohol? I don't know. Don't like carrying leaky, flamible substances in my pack. Stove fuel quality? Besides it stings/hurts! Soap goes a lot longer & farther. If I wanted an alternate antiseptic liquid, maybe betedine.

Yes, the rodent (or rabbit) is harder to work on. damn their "stuff" is tiny. Not to mention a rabbit is 100-1000x more stressed and I have no one helping me, not even an anaesthesiologist, dammit! And blind intubation is a beeyotch!

I have an alcohol based gel. trust it way more than soap.

Gotta agree with Bear on this, the alchohol based cleaners are pretty good, and in a pinch can be used as a fire lighter (LOL WANT TO KNOW HOW I KNOW THAT?)
