I AM ONE HELL OF A PROUD PARENT :)” 7:03:27 AM 11/18/07 “The adults on this board don't turn every subject into an argument.” 7:14:21 AM 11/18/07 “hey lets have some fun and turn this around - Just b/c you have children doesn't mean you automatically have any decent advice to give. Unlike doctors or surgeons, their aint no schoolin for it. You may suck at it. ;) :p” 7:24:03 AM 11/18/07 “I've observed that most people don't make good parents, but almost everyone makes a good grandparent.” 7:29:11 AM 11/18/07 “this is a great way to keep track of who goes onto myspace and looks at your profile. mixmap.com I have it and it does work. you just need to know how to read IP address's.” 7:35:59 AM 11/18/07 “actually bear, i'm a great parent, it's just that half of my kids are "iffy" at best at this point in time, LOL! aaaaaaaa, you know, they have their moments. their idiots, they drive me crazy; omgosh they are so sweet and thoughtful, they're so smart. you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink. you do all the right stuff and then you pray a whole lot, because you know they are going to go their own way at some point and you just can't control everything.” 2:56:51 AM 11/19/07 “You can not be your own judge.” 7:42:25 PM 11/19/07 “feel free to come out? when you get here, we can do a backpack trip too. do kids judge you? i've got almost a hundred who think i'm good enough to call ma, they especially appreciate the advice. advice they never seem to realize is the same stuff their parents tell them, except that i'm saying it and somehow that makes it different. go figure. my kids tell me that compared to other parents, i am really good, they know this because they listen to their friends and now they know they were blessed when they were teens. it would have been nicer had they realized it when they were younger, but better late than never i suppose. i suppose you need to hear it from adults who know me? let me see what i can do. LOL! last edited: 11/20/07 1:06:06 AM” 1:06:36 AM 11/20/07 “My advise: Don't start collecting cats.” 10:55:03 AM 11/20/07 “yuck, i hate cats! cats sit on your counters where you prepare food and lick themselves. cats shed copious amounts of hair everywhere. cats are gross.” 10:58:37 AM 11/20/07 “Cats are cool.” 11:00:21 AM 11/20/07 “i suppose you need to hear it from adults who know me? let me see what i can do. LOL! Well, as long as they've had children too.” 11:01:12 AM 11/20/07 “Cats are cool.” StoveStomper everyone's different! makes the world go around *<]:o)” 11:05:26 AM 11/20/07 “yuck, i hate cats! cats sit on your counters where you prepare food and lick themselves. cats shed copious amounts of hair everywhere. cats are gross You're alright Pammie. I don't care what Stovie says about you.” 11:06:33 AM 11/20/07 “i suppose you need to hear it from adults who know me? let me see what i can do. LOL! Well, as long as they've had children too.” bearmagnet Well now, that would make the most sense. Now, how to get them here. . . LOL!” 11:06:43 AM 11/20/07 “If you show them this place, they may change their opinions.” 11:09:11 AM 11/20/07 “Pamy, me and my two cats fart in your general direction.” 11:09:32 AM 11/20/07 “If you show them this place, they may change their opinions.” lumberzac wow, you're right. hmmmmmmm, what to do now?” 11:11:29 AM 11/20/07 “The deep dark secret about Pammy is out! ;-)” 11:11:33 AM 11/20/07 “Pammie, me and my two cats fart in your general direction.” Nigal *fixed* ouch. hey Nigal, it's ok. i didn't say you couldn't like cats. i just don't like cats. everybody is allowed their own opinions in my world, but we don't have to validate other people's opinions if we choose not to. last edited: 11/20/07 11:16:25 AM” 11:14:48 AM 11/20/07 “My cat loving dog also farts in your general direction. LOL! My wife's idiot pastor once made a comment after we told him our 16 year old cat died, something to the effect that a dead cat was the best kind. I reminded him we had had our cat longer than he has had his children. He shut up after that. last edited: 11/20/07 11:19:38 AM” 11:17:40 AM 11/20/07 “dogs are cool! dogs will love you no matter what. dogs will even love your cat if you ask them to, LOL! they are that loyal! and they don't climb up onto your kitchen counters. dogs take you for walks even when you don't want to go out, that's because they know you need a walk. dogs run to the door and get all excited when you come home, even if you've only been gone for 15 minutes. when you are sad you dog will come over and sit with you. i wish i had a house with a yard so that i could have a dog. i had a cool dog when i was a little girl.” 11:23:44 AM 11/20/07 “I love my dog! Here she is at about 10 pounds... ![]() And then 90 pounds later.... ”11:31:35 AM 11/20/07 “I have two cats that just appeared in my woods last weekend...one is a beautiful black persian and the other is chocolate and white.” 11:52:54 AM 11/20/07 “I have a mutual understanding with cats. If they leave me alone, I leave them alone.” 11:54:40 AM 11/20/07 “Dogs do get up on your counters and they steal whatever you happen to have left out (mine often go for the loaf of bread or whatever meat I may have in the sink thawing). They also puke on your bed occasionally and leave hair everywhere. But, they have an innate sense of when you need love and they never fail to be there with wags and licks and their own version of care. They are cool. I will not hesitate to replace ours when they pass. Cats are good but I'm sure they would eat us if they were big enough.” 12:14:21 PM 11/20/07 “everybody is allowed their own opinions in my world, but we don't have to validate other people's opinions if we choose not to. Although, some people should not confuse facts with opinions. For example: It's a fact that it's irresponsible to leave your young children unsupervised on the internet.” 1:02:50 PM 11/20/07 “Although, some people should not confuse facts with opinions. For example: It's a fact that it's irresponsible to leave your young children unsupervised on the internet.” Sarge there goes Sarge with his pretend teenagers, (still attached by the pretend umbilical cord he would never cut), while they sit at the 'puter. last edited: 11/20/07 6:01:09 PM” 6:00:04 PM 11/20/07 “Human beings are perhaps never more frightening than when they are convinced beyond doubt that they are right. -Laurens van der Post” 6:06:37 PM 11/20/07 “the real question here should be do you let your cat or dog post on the interent alone? I think my dog might be surfing the net, I have found some very strange looking doggie porn pics on my pc and I am pretty sure it is not tree or at least I dont think it was him” 6:13:28 PM 11/20/07 “Too true Ruby. What I know more than anything is that if I sit next to BrianSean and watch his every move that he will rebel in the hugest way imaginable, and what happens then will be scarier than whatever I would have been protecting him from. When I sit only 6 ft away, he invites me to come and look at stuff over and over, but if I walk over to the desk to get something out of a cubby, he freaks out and minimizes whatever he is looking at right away, even though I can plainly see whatever he was looking at was completely harmless. Teens have privacy issues, it's part of growing up. The morals I have been instilling in him since birth are working well, the sites he is visiting are relatively harmless. The scariest things so far are horrible music and tatoos/piercings. Sarge will never ever understand that because he has never had a child. We could attempt to explain it until we are blue in the face, but he chooses not to understand. That's pretty screwed up really.” 6:27:27 PM 11/20/07 “Mapes, I'm not sure what doggie porn looks like, but I'm pretty sure I don't want to see it. LOL!” 6:29:14 PM 11/20/07 “you should all let sarge raise your kids. theyll be better off” 6:30:53 PM 11/20/07 “Not only does he choose to not understand, he chooses to instigate dissension and strife, no matter the topic. The best remedy is to ignore him and not respond to anything he posts. Don't get sucked into a discussion because it doesn't serve any purpose but frustration.” 6:31:08 PM 11/20/07 “ ![]() WORD TO YOU ALL, NEVER EVER GOOGLE DOG PORN TOGETHER. IT IS UGLY” 6:33:26 PM 11/20/07 “ruby, why do you hate god and america so much?” 6:34:35 PM 11/20/07 “do you think at the the doggie s&m store they have fire hydrant costumes for the doggies that are into water sports?” 6:36:15 PM 11/20/07 “OH MY EYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!” 6:40:54 PM 11/20/07 “hahaha you love it.” 6:52:07 PM 11/20/07 “BTW, I wrote a brand new blog for anyone who might be interested in dropping in at my myspace and having a read. i think i'm going to have to get up from here and go to do something. otherwise i might fall asleep. maybe a little night fishing.” 6:53:53 PM 11/20/07 “CB, I don't like puppies and babies either.” 6:56:19 PM 11/20/07 “You people are HYSTERICAL! LMAO! Yeah, I just came up with this new concept that parents should never leave their kids unsupervised on the internet JUST TO TROLL YOU GUYS! SUCKERS! hahahahaha! Now, to just unconvince the millions of people that I convinced to TRICK YOU SUCKERS! BWU-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA! Sarge will never ever understand that because he has never had a child. And you know this how Pamela?” 7:56:34 PM 11/20/07 “Seriously, you guys should read your own posts. I post that parents shouldn't leave their kids unsupervised on the internet, and there's a mob of you throwing stones at me. Quite humorous, really, in a very dark kind of way. I feel sorry for the lot of you. You're your own troll, just looking for bait, even when it's not there.” 7:59:08 PM 11/20/07 “youve been posting here for about 3 years now. im here as much as anyone, ive never once seen you say anything about having children. you never denied it when everyone was calling you childless. its a pretty safe assumption i agree that leaving young children unsupervised on the net is a mistake and a bad idea. i think what ppl (especially those with children) object to is your judgemental tone. hindsight is 20/20, and being an armchair quarterback is always easy. its easy to say "this is how you should raise your kid" its another to actually do it. the parents of that dead girl made a tragic mistake. making mistakes is not the same thing as being irresponsible” 8:04:09 PM 11/20/07 “sarge thanks you should let your special needs kid sit on the porch and laugh at passing traffic so that he (sarge) doesn't have to sit next to him and listen to him laugh at the movies. yes. this is a person we want to listen to when it comes to raising children” 8:12:53 PM 11/20/07 “i like sitting on the porch and laughing at traffic” 8:14:55 PM 11/20/07 “im like waving to you as I drive by” 8:18:02 PM 11/20/07 “ ”8:21:09 PM 11/20/07 red x “fail” 8:21:55 PM 11/20/07 “crash - First off, I don't confirm nor deny A LOT of what people claim. In fact, I've sat back, watched people claim things, ignored them, then watched as others believed them. It's quite an amazing phenomena to watch. It's like a living organism, coming to life before your eyes. If you'll recall, I've stated MANY times, if you want to know something about me, or what I believe, "ask". I've said that many times, as I'm sure you'll recall, because of this very type of thing. I won't always answer, especially many personal questions, but that's my right. I'll let you know I don't want to reveal that, just like 99% of the people on here have their limits. Secondly, the only thing originally (after Pam made a mockery of herself) said by me that could be construed as "judgmental tone", was saying it's irresponsible. It is. If somebody wanted clarification on that, they could just ask instead of going on a maniacal tirade. But as many people have said IN REAL LIFE, it IS irresponsible. I'd rather offend those parents that don't see it that way than be milquetoast like this society has become when it comes to morality. The ENABLERS, and the people (like Pam's friend who emailed ME, not her to say she was wrong) who keep quiet are the destructive ones, not the ones who speak the truth. This society has become one where speaking the truth is considered destructive, and coddling the deceived is considered compassionate. The reality is the opposite is true - choose your side, I've chosen mine.” 8:22:49 PM 11/20/07 Jump to Page << prev
