“the reason i got into it was to keep an eye on my own kids. soon i became a friend to many of their friends who thought i was a pretty cool mom and began to add me. i watch over many now. they may not always listen to what i have to say, but i HAVE said it, so it's there in the back of their heads, little words of wisdom. i drop in on their myspaces periodically and make sure that all is well there. one of my adult sons did decide though that i was intrusive after a year and kicked me out; funnily enough, his best friend keeps me on and talks to me.

It was part of the Greeen Chimney program out of Westchester NY. Jim was a guest speaker. I did not know he was going to be there. I almost cried when I met him. I grew up watching him. I told him that it was mostly because of him that I got into this job because of him. He seemed almost blown away by this and he thanked and hugged me.

“ok, so it's working everywhere else. i'm checking all my various settings. have disabled mcaffee antiphishing which i had already turned off. i can open some myspace things, but can't open home to sign in. weird weird weird. might have to take my 'puter back in time a few days. any other suggestions?”

“Ewker - MySpace started out as a place where kids could set up their own website and act wild and crazy among their friends with suggestive pictures, blogs, quotes, and comments. Over time it has evolved...now their parents can go there and do the same thing.
